At the core of who she is, Denise values wisdom and truth. These two defining characteristics are deeply entrenched in her love for God’s Word (wisdom) and books (knowledge). Denise has been an avid reader since the age of three, when her grandmother introduced her to the magic and power of words. She has spent a lifetime embracing words, and eventually — discovered her own love for writing. “My love for reading is in my DNA. My grandmother and my mother always encouraged me to read and I could never get enough. As I’ve grown, and my priorities have changed, so have my reading interests. My bookshelves are lined with Christian authors who have helped challenge and grow my faith, but of course — my favorite book is my Bible. It’s timeless and means everything to me.”
